Base Program

Power Raking or Aeration
The Base Program is for lawns that need a focused first step. You choose either:

- Power raking to remove thatch that is holding water and blocking air
- Aeration to relieve soil compaction and let roots go deeper

This option is a good fit if your lawn has one main problem and you want to tackle it directly.

Intermediate Program

Power Raking plus Granular Fertilization or Aeration
The Intermediate Program combines mechanical work on the lawn with plant nutrition. It includes:

- Power raking to pull up thick thatch and surface debris
- Granular fertilization or aeration, depending on what your lawn needs most

By pairing one of the mechanical services with nutrients, the lawn can respond more quickly and fill in thin areas.

Elite Program

Power Raking plus Aeration plus Granular Fertilization
The Elite Program is the most complete option. It is designed for lawns that need a full reset and long term improvement.
This program includes:

- Power raking to break up thatch and organic build up at the surface
- Aeration to relieve compaction and open channels into the soil
- Granular fertilization so the lawn can take full advantage of the work you have just done

Together these steps help the lawn breathe again, let water move more easily into the soil, and give roots the nutrients they need to rebuild.

Lawn Aeration

Aeration is a valuable horticultural practice for lawns in South Florida because it relieves compaction caused by foot traffic, mowers and other equipment. When soil is compacted, roots stay shallow and water tends to run off instead of soaking in.

With core aeration:

  • Small plugs of soil are pulled from the lawn

  • Air, water and fertilizer can move deeper into the root zone

  • Roots can grow down instead of sideways

  • Lawns often thicken and handle stress better

Power Raking

Power raking is used when thatch has built up in the lawn. Thatch is the layer of dead stems and roots that sits between the soil and the grass blades. A little thatch is normal, but too much blocks irrigation and fertilizer from reaching the soil.

Power raking:

  • Loosens and lifts excess thatch and old organic material

  • Helps water reach the soil instead of sitting on top

  • Makes room for new grass shoots to grow and spread

After power raking, the lawn may look a little rough at first, but it is in a much better position to respond to fertilization, rain and regular care.

Granular Fertilization

Granular fertilization is an important companion to aeration and power raking. Once the soil is open and the thatch layer is reduced, the lawn is primed to receive nutrients.

Well timed granular fertilization:

  • Feeds the grass as it recovers from mechanical work

  • Supports thicker, more even growth across the yard

  • Helps new roots develop in the open soil channels created by aeration
